This April we will hold our Great Debate on Retail Media as a hybrid event in Amsterdam, Netherlands hosted by GroupM and live streamed for free.

Retail Media provides media buyers with the opportunity to directly link ad spend to sales outcomes and this is fuelling the sector's growth. In this event, industry experts will come together to discuss how Retail Media is developing across Europe. 

The event will kick off with the latest Retail Media insights and trends from our Chief Economist, Daniel Knapp. We will then turn our attention to the work on Retail Media Standards and how this work will help to address some of the buy-side pain points.  Following this, we will share some great Retail Media case studies and discuss the power of Retail Media campaigns based on current retailer capabilities. To close, we will address the future and how Retail Media is moving upper funnel and beyond.

Presentation: Retail Media in Europe - The Next 12 Months

Hear from our Chief Economist, Daniel Knapp, on the latest Retail Media trends in Europe. How will Retail Media evolve over the next 12 months and what does the industry need to do to enable the continued growth of Retail Media in Europe.

Presentation and Panel 1: Closing the Retail Media Standards Loop 

Hear from IAB Europe on the development of Retail Media Standards for Europe. The presentation will be followed by a panel discussion which will draw on the importance of standards, how they will advance the retail media space and what needs to be addressed next. The panel will also address the ways in which retail media provides campaign and audience insights that are unique to retail media investments.

Presentation: Retailer Case Study and Panel 2: Showcasing The Power of Retail Media

Kicking off with an insightful case study from a Retailer, this panel will explore the current capabilities of retail media networks in Europe and how retailers can scale their offering. The panel will also discuss how retailer roadmaps will evolve in areas such as digital in-store evolution.

Panel 3 : The Evolution of Retail Media - Upper Funnel and Beyond

The panel will dive into how retail media ads are moving up the funnel and the activation of data clean rooms.
